Gallery Funaki: Lucy Sarneel

‘An important point of reference in my jewellery is nature, which is threatened by extinction and rarely exists in its original, unspoiled form. My jewellery pieces are translations of the question about naturalness or artificiality of nature. They deal with the aspect of growing.’

Lucy Sarneel lives and works in Amsterdam. Her work is held in public collections all over the world, and in 2006 she won the Gallery Funaki International Jewellery Award.
